I have a friend who is from Missouri and is going back there this weekend to help out with the Joplin Missouri tornado victims and families.  (As of May 23 there are 116 estimated fatalities) She is leaving on Friday and taking donations!

Here is what they are needing :

  • first aid items
  • toiletries
  • shoes
  • socks
  • rain gear
  • clean up stuff
  • tarps
  • chainsaws
  • medical supplies
  • disposable cameras for insurance claims
  • water
  • work gloves
  • ropes
  • flashlights
  • canned foods
  • and of course monetary donations will also be accepted
